4 Spring time activities that let your inner child out

Spring is here! I love this time of the year for swimming, bbqing, and just spending time with my family and friends. This is the time of the year where I can pull out my inner child and just go with the flow.

Spring Seriously, I love my inner child! Why? Because it keeps me young, happy, and having fun! So if you want to feel like a kid again this Spring, stay tuned..

 

 

Flying a Kite

Oh. m. gee. This has got to be one of the best ways to let that kid out of you! Not only is flying a kite fun, but it seriously decreases your adult stress. You don’t believe me? Then try it! It will take your mind off of worrying or anxiety because you are concentrating on this one activity. It is also a great form of exercise to do, check this article out. So go to the store or better yet grab some supplies and make your own kite for Spring.

 

 

Swinging

You are never too old to swing! I have always loved to swing since I was a little girl. For some reason it has always brought me complete joy, and I think it is because it made me feel “free” in a sense. Now that I am an adult I still swing at the park because the rhythm of the swing is soothing. Again swinging is another form of exercise that gets your joints moving, but you won’t even know you are getting any exercise because of the fun you’re having. So grab a friend and go pick a swing at the park. If will not regret it.

 

Plant a garden

Watching a garden grow has got to be one of the most rewarding experiences ever. Why? Because it is something you nurtured by planting, watering, and pruning on a daily or weekly basis. When you are visually seeing your hard work paying off i.e plants blooming, it will make you will feel like a kid at Christmas. Gardening is also stress reliever that works wonders and Spring is the best time to plant.

 

Coloring

Can I tell you how much I love to color?! It is one of the best things that has helped my anxiety levels decrease. There is this thing called an Adult Coloring Book, and it is the bomb. Trust me. As ridiculous as it sounds, it is one of the most relaxing activities you can do. It is the perfect mental escape you need this Spring.
