5 signs your natural hair regimen works

A natural hair care regimen is essential to having healthy natural hair, so how many of you are wondering if your hair routine is genuinely working? Below you will find 4 signs that your natural regimen works.

Breakage is going to occur regardless of your regimen just because hair is not perfect, but if you are seeing little to no breakage this is a sign your regimen is working! If your hair is growing meaning if you are retaining length that is a sign your hair is loving what you’re doing.

Knowing what your hair loves

Whether you are deep conditioning once a week, a month, or longer you know what your hair craves. If you know what shampoo or conditioner (products) your hair is reacting to greatly, you should keep using it!  In the same token you aren’t afraid to try something new because you know how to make it work for your hair. Add oils conditioners to whatever product that isn’t working for you.

Natural Shine

After the conditioners, shampoos, and oils are washed out and your hair, and it still remains shiny than your routine works. There is nothing like the natural shine of your hair without any added products. Natural shine means healthy natural hair.

Shrinkage

Some naturals hate shrinkage but the truth is shrinkage should be your best friend. If you natural hair shrinks up when wet than this is a sure sign your hair is healthy and your regimen is working. So embrace your shrinkage!

Skip a day or two

If you forget to put that extra moisture in your hair before you head to bed,  miss your cowash routine, or just don’t feel like dealing with your hair. You should be able to skip a day without your hair breaking or falling out. Light shedding is normal. But you should not see lots of strands on your pillow or clothes. Now I wouldn’t recommended missing multiple days but a day or two should not hurt the health of your hair.
