3 leave-ins that have changed the game

moisturizing leave in conditioner

We all know about the LOC  (Liquid, oil, cream) method. I’ve been using it since I’ve been natural and it has helped tremendously in keeping my natural hair healthy. Lately, I’ve noticed that my hair has been on the dry side, when this happens I like to experiment or change things up a bit. Water has been my liquid of choice since going natural, but lately I’ve been using both water and leave-in conditioner. Let’s just say dry hair BE GONE! Here’s my top 3…

Mielle Organics

I love everything that Mielle Organics has but their leave-ins are the G.O.A.T for me. The white peony leave-in is very lightweight, great for styling, also great for when your hair needs a mid-week refresher. Recently, I’ve purchased the pomegranate and honey leave-in and I love it!  Seriously! Not only does it smell great but YA’LL it helps to detangle!! Did you hear me?! It helps in the detangling process! The slip of the pomegranate & honey makes it so simple! If you haven’t tried either one of these products go pick up some this weekend. Sally’s beauty always has a sale.

Jane Carter Solution

I’m rather new to Jane Carter, so I’m probably late to the party with this one, but their revitalizing leave-in is bomb! I definitely use this leave-in during the week if I need to redo or change my style up. I don’t use anything else while redoing my hair because it’s the only thing needed to add moisture back into my hair. I’ve also heard of many naturals using this leave-in before heat styling as well.

My Honey Child

My Honey Child is a black owned small business, so I’ll show my support no matter what. They have an aloe vera leave in treatment that is beyond amazing! First off I love aloe vera gel, so I knew I would love this treatment. Aloe vera is very soothing on your scalp/hair and will make the cuticle of your hair smooth causing the hair strands to have little frizz. This aloe leave-in keeps my hair moisturized during the whole week!

Listen, ya’ll if a leave-in conditioner isn’t in your current regimen well add it now!

It has transformed my whole regimen.

 less tangles,

and less tangles means less breakage

= length retention.
