Top 3 curl-defining hair gels for wash n go

Wash n go

Almost every natural hair girl is looking for the perfect gel, cream, or conditioner to define their wash n go. Mostly gels work best in the Spring to bring out your true curl pattern. And the Spring is the best time for naturalistas to experiment with these products to enhance their curls.

I’m definitely a gel kind of girl to get the best possible definition for my wash n goes. The truth is that every gel product and even every curl pattern are not created equal. It can take many fails to get the right product that will clump your curls together. Below are 3 different gels that keep my curls popping during the Spring and I hope they work the same for you.

Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic

The name curly magic says it all. I lovvvveee this gel! It acts as a curl stimulator by clumping your natural hair together. The best part is that this product is for all curl types (Kinky, Curly, and wavy textures).  One of the key ingredients is Aloe gel, which is mainly water based but still provides a firm hold. Also, it smells really nice!

Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker

I’m no stranger to this curling gel, it was on of my favorite products of 2015. It was the first gel that I tried in my natural hair that worked for a wash n go! So of course I’m sticking with it this Spring to give my wash n go the definition it needs. It also promotes moisture and eliminates frizz. Normally gels add an extra crunch to your natural hair but this gel softens the hair. For those vegan lovers out there, this gel is also Vegan to create total wellness for the hair.

Eco Styler Gel (Argan Oil)

To say I love this gel is an understatement! I love to apply this gel with the Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker because they both work together great. Eco Styler Argan Oil is a very smooth gel that conditions the hair as well as adds shine. Also, it does NOT leave flakes. I use a lot of this gel for great hold and every time it is used there are no flakes and it provides the maximum hold. I also use this gel to lay my edges.

I hope you try these gels for the Spring. If so, let me know in the comments!
