No Such thing as a “Stress Free Environment”

So I haven’t blogged in a while. Sorry everyone but life happens, and when it does- it’s major. I’ll try to be more consistent with my posts, but I can’t generate anything. Since “life” has happened, I’ve been stressed to the max and wonder if a “stress free environment” is real.

Stress-Free

If you’re an adult (children have stresses too) then I know that stress has occurred multiple times for you. Life is crazy and we have many responsibilities as adults: Bills, food (which is another bill), relationships, and oh yeah BILLS.  Why did we ever grow up, right? Last night I spoke to someone who is very close to, and they said, “I just want to be in a stress free environment.” This got me thinking, does a stress-free really environment exist?” Maybe people living in an imaginary world. But I will have to say it doesn’t and here’s why.

Inevitable Stress

Listen if I could crawl back into my mother’s womb I would. lol Seriously, this life is stressful and we’re all going to be stressed so there’s no avoiding it. Also, there’s no environment that anyone can go into and not be stressed. It’s a guarantee that you’ll be stressed at work, home, school, and anywhere else that you go. People take solace in their home life, which is great. Home shouldn’t be too stressful, but there are still responsibilities at home. My point is stress can and will occur anywhere, but there are ways of coping with it.

How I cope with stress?

There are many ways to cope with stress. What helps me, may or may not work for you but here’s what I do. Talk it out.  I call whoever I feel most comfortable with, and just talk. I find my “person” and just let it all out. This has to be someone you completely trust. If you don’t have a person than talking to God or to just yourself aloud (don’t act like you don’t already do it) will help too. It’s all about talking. People hold too much inside, which leads to being over-stressed. Other ways of coping with stress: taking a break and self-care (sleep, etc).

Take care of yourself but don’t feel like you need a stress free environment because it doesn’t exist and you wouldn’t want it to. Hope you’ve enjoyed reading this article. Comment if you have issues with stress.
