Be in alignment

It’s so crazy how the internet has become. You know what I mean? We all have to be like each other whether it’s with looks, clothes, or personality. We are striving to be exactly like each other, and when we fall short we become depressed and incoherent. I’ve been there, I’ve done this, and I’m tired that we as people are trying to always impress each other by being EXACTLY the same.

If I’m honest, I’m a blogger, and most of my time has to be spent online writing or posting picture. This is to keep my audience engaged or to get brand recognition. As bloggers or influencers we must stay and maintain relevance, but it gets so overwhelming. So much so that I’d love to throw my phone and laptop away and just disappear some days. If I’m being real with you, a lot of the time I have to remind myself of why I even started a blog in the first place. It wasn’t to get recognized by a brand and it wasn’t to keep an audience engaged (although I love when ya’ll talk to me). It was because I loved to write. PERIOD.

We all have this keeping up with The Joneses outlook and are afraid that we are going to miss every opportunity because we aren’t doing what everyone else is. We are simply trying to portray something we aren’t just to be seen. There’s nothing wrong with trying to be seen though, we just need to Be in Alignment.

I’ve learned that every opportunity that another blogger or person get isn’t always for me. There’s no point to get upset when someone else gets a campaign and I don’t. Everything flows to you when it’s supposed to. Now I find myself just sitting back and enjoying the ride and celebrating everyone else’s victories. Then you know what happens? A brand emails me inviting me somewhere or asking me to work with them. We must continue to celebrate wins that aren’t for us and then we’ll see the fruits of our labor of love.

I challenge you to position yourself to be happy for that person/brand that ignored you, celebrate others, and continue to work hard because when you’re in alignment everything that’s meant will fall in your lap. You won’t have to do anything else but receive your blessings. Trust me. It works.

All Love,
